28° YOUTH INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

“ERMES FONTANA” TROPHY - "MATTIA BERTONI" TROPHY
A.S.D. Baseball Club Sala Baganza organizes the 28th Youth International Baseball Tournament of Sala Baganza “Ermes Fontana” Trophy from 1st to 5th August 2012 reserved to the following categories:
RAGAZZI BASEBALL boys born in 2000-2001-2002-2003
CADETTI BASEBALL boys born in 1996-1997-1998-1999
RAGAZZE SOFTBALL girls born in 1999-2000-2001-2002-2003
CADETTE SOFTBALL girls born in 1996-1997-1998-1999
MINIBASEBALL boys and girls born in 2003-2004-2005-2006-2007
The teams will take part in the Tournament will be:
- 12 for Ragazzi Baseball (Ermes Fontana Trophy)
- 12 for Cadetti Baseball (Ermes Fontana Trophy)
- 6 for Ragazze Softball
- 6 for Cadette Softball
- 4 for Minibaseball (Mattia Bertoni Trophy)
coming from many Italian towns and from various World countries.
The Tournament will start on Wednesday August 1st with the teams receipt and the opening ceremony (obligatory). The Tournament will end on Sunday August 5th with the finals games, the awards ceremonyand the closure ceremony (obligatory).
The teams coming from outside Parma zone will be made of 16 members (athletes and managers) and will be our guests in our camping area in tents from Wednesday to Sunday night, including meals from Wednesday lunch to Sunday dinner; the journey costs to and from Sala Baganza will be at your expenses.
For the participation of each team to the Tournament a 350,00€ registration fee plus a box of homologated balls are required; moreover we have established a 150,00€ caution that will be given back to you at the end of the Tournament.
The caution will be retained by B.C. Sala Baganza just in case that any damage has undergone to the tents and structures because of bad behavior of your team or that your team, once registered, doesn’t present to the Tournament or the team will leave Sala Baganza before the closure ceremony. The above fees are to be paid only after your Team has been accepted to the Tournament, that is after you have received the official invitation.
You are invited to communicate your eventual interest to take part in the Tournament within 18 March 2012 specifying with which teams you would like to participate.
On the basis of the received adhesions B.C. Sala Baganza will file the list of the invited teams to which we will confirm the official invitation and send any further informations within 31 March 2012. The invited teams shall finalize the registration to the Tournament by sending a filled form and paying the registration and caution fee within 30 April 2012. Communication will be given to the excluded teams as soon as possible. If we could not manage to accept all your requests, all excluded teams will be advised as soon as possible and will be considered as reserves (up to 15 May 2012) in case any other team were to give up.
